Launched in selected stores, Boots Emporium is part of a new personalised shop-in-shop experience for the high street retailer, which Advance International was proud to be part of.
The brief from Boots was simple: create an eye-catching, entirely new beauty experience that was interactive and creative. With the opportunity for product personalisation, instore tutorials, ‘test and play’, ‘build you own’ as well as experimenting with new beauty trends, Emporium makes the customer personal again.
Working collaboratively with various suppliers to ensure Boots V7 electrical specification was met, the design brief was to create a modular plug and play system with a low voltage wiring infrastructure taking various auxiliary’s including CAT 5 cable for data onscreen. In addition, key to the brief was that it could be easily manufactured and quick assembled instore by shop fitters for a swift rollout.
Assisting at the design stage, supplying approximately 40 components, bespoke packaging and labels, providing installation guidance and training, Advance was a key player in developing this project from concept to successful rollout in over 100 stores. Installed in-time for the Christmas shopping season, Boots Emporium has been hailed as a game changer in the shop-in-shop beauty experience.
